Welcome

"Discover
the Great Canadian Secret ! "
Imagine being
in one of the truly most unique lake & forest systems
in Canada. With a lake system that allows you to fish 11 lakes
without ever getting out of your boat and a fishery that has
a trophy for every species. Forests with high rocky ridges,
natural funnels, huge timber and interspersed with many lakes,
rivers and ponds give this place the key ingredients for trophy
game viewing and hunting. A place where in one moment you are
reeling in a beauty 4 pound walleye and a moment later it feels
like you got a snag, but that's no snag as the line zings off
your reel, it's a monster muskie latched on to your fish that
has to be witnessed to be believed. Where every day there is the
chance to see and photograph moose, whitetail deer, black bear,
grouse, beaver ,mink, otter, eagles or many ducks and loons. Definitely
an experience you will never forget!

And don't forget about our Northern Lights other wise known as
Aurora Borealis, they dance in our northern skies on the clear
nights in colours of neon green, bright white and shades of pinkish
and purple tinged wisps of light. Up and down they dance to natures
own tune with only you and your friends/family as the audience.
A lake system that many famous fishermen and books
have been written about but never named to keep it a secret
amongst trophy seeking anglers. A place where people have
been known to catch record sized fish to only report them as caught
in Lake of the Woods, so there would be no rush of new anglers
coming to fish here and crowd their secret lake and fishing hole.
You may be the next who wish to keep this pristine and unspoiled
wilderness your secret only to reveal to close friends, relatives
and colleagues the treasure you have found.

Clearwater
Lodge consists of 5 rustic rental log cabins
and 3 outpost cabins on Kishkutena, Dash
and Pipestone lake. With boats on 6 other private lakes
to portage into for the ultimate adventurer.
Where else gives you
the unique opportunity every day to go and explore so many lakes
that are unspoiled in every way. This is the very reason you come
to Canada to see Mother Nature in all her glory with the many
creatures still living the same way they have for thousands of
years. You will marvel at how crystal clear the water is and the
virgin timber that still stands, towering to heights of well over
100' and so large around at the bottom that you and your mate
could probably not touch hands around it. This is the reason why
so many customers come back to Clearwater Lodge every year

Some of the most famous fisherman come up here to fish.
Hey they would not come if it didn't promise to be good. Some
fellas have even caught record fish here only to report them as
caught on Lake of the Woods, so that no one would come and crowd
their fishing hole. Television shows have been recorded here only
to have the lake not named to keep it secret. And it soon may
be your secret too.
10.
Our cabins are all very unique and are like a trip back in
time. They have all the modern amenities(such as electricity,
fridge, stove etc) but by being built back in the early 30's have
preserved the feeling of those early fish camps, with the hand
built log cabins of the time. One of our guests summed it up as
inspiring to admire the hand crafted quality and said "If
these walls could talk of the tales of fish & game that have
been through here." Most of our guests wish they could take
our cabins home with them, but are happy to return year after
year.
But don't take our word for it, read what some
of our customers have said:
